What Are The Initial Costs To Get Started?

The pre-license costs vary from school to school but it is safe to assume that the initial pre-license investment will be between $800 and $1200.
After obtaining your license, Bray Real Estate requires you to join a local board of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Real Estate and the National Association of Real Estate. Typically these fees and dues total between $300 to $600 depending on which local board you choose.
As an associate with Bray Real Estate you will also join the Mesa multiple listing service. By joining the Mesa system information about thousands of properties will be available to you. Once again you can estimate between $300 to $600 dollars to join the Mesa system.
As a new sales associate you will also have start up costs to get your new business off the ground. Bray Real Estate has conviently put together a start up package which costs $225 and includes all the tools you will need to begin on the right foot. Personal marketing and promotion will vary depending on your marketing strategy.
